| My Afrik’Art is an organisation specialized in importing and selling original and unique works of art from Africa. We are based in Ireland. We are currently importing most of our goods from Ivory Coast as we know very well this country and its great culture. We intend to broaden our suppliers to other countries in the coming years. We can offer you a large range of unique handmade crafts: masks, figurines, Ebony statues, cast bronze statues, clothes. We can also import some special goods upon your request thanks to the close relationship that we developed with our suppliers. We do our best to provide the highest quality products, and concentrate on finding items with great appearance and condition. We select all our items individually from our suppliers. All our suppliers are talented artists living in Africa. We met face to face with all the suppliers making sure that the products are of high quality. 1) Where do you source your items? Our items are sourced from Ivory Coast mainly. We intend to expand our suppliers to the region of West Africa as soon as our business will be growing. We already have some connections in Mali, Gambia, Senegal. 2) Are your products hand-made? All of our art is hand-crafted, handmade. All the products are unique due to the handmade process used by our suppliers. We met face to face with all of them making sure that the products are top quality. You might see two quite similar items in our range of products. However all the pieces of art are unique. All the ebony statues have been made after we ordered them from the artists’ booklet. 3) Will I get exactly the same item that is shown in the picture? This is correct. We take a picture of every item that we list on Ebid so that we guarantee that the item that you see while buying will be the same as the one that you will receive. 4) Do you belong to Fair Trade Federation? Afrik’Art does not belong to any organization at the moment. However we intend to be an active member of the Fair Trade Federation as soon as possible. Our products are purchased from low income artisans at fair prices. 5) How long will I have to wait before receiving my item? We will post your item as soon as we receive full payment for the product. We guarantee that the item will be shipped not more than one day after we receive the payment as customer experience and customer service are one of our main focus. 6) Do you guarantee customer satisfaction? We provide our customers with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 30 days of receipt for a refund or replacement with another item. We will only deduct the shipping and handling fees incurred by us, and process the balance of the refund on receipt of the item(s).If the item is damaged when you receive it, we will issue a full refund either when it is returned to us, or has been inspected by the shipper. It is important to get hold of us within this 7 day period. Claims after this will not be accepted. 7) What happens if my items are damaged? Any damaged items must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt for a full refund or replacement. Please call us for your Return Authorization Number. We take extra care when packing your items for shipment. All items are quality checked, wrapped in thick bubble-plastic and boxed. |
