My name is Margarete Barnes, and I come originally from Germany and have lived in the UK with my husband since 1971. Our two children have grown up and left home. I started selling on Ebay (same ID) and have joined ebid in March 2008 in order to de-clutter the house. Not very successfully, as I am still buying more than selling. Most of the items I list have been used by either myself or another member of the family. Anything new is usually something where I have changed my mind and left it too late to return to the shop. As you can see, I am not running a business.

I love reading and all kinds of needlework, lace making being the current favourite with toymaking, especially teddy bears, coming a close second
